Tiegear Steadfast Awning 4 Pack
Description
This pack has everything needed to secure any 180 Degree Awning or Gazebo.
The innovative and robust Guy Rope has a 4 metre reach which can be tightly secured at any length. Unused rope neatly packs away into the breathable net bag. The cast aluminium tensioner will ensure the guy rope remains securely fixed in the toughest of conditions.
The heavy-duty springs allow for flex in the tie down system which ensures strong gusts of wind are readily absorbed and pegs remain securely fixed to the ground.
The springs come with a spring loop allowing them to be easily pegged to the ground. Alternatively, you can wrap the spring around a structure (e.g. bull bars, bollards, trees) eliminating the need for pegs altogether.
The springs have also been designed to wrap around the drum of a caravan awning providing a secure and safe connection point to the awning for the guy rope and the soft materials ensure there is no risk of scratching or damage to the awning.
The Gear Bag is constructed from a high-quality acrylic canvas and mesh to make it robust and breathable, which gives you the confidence to pack up your ropes soaking wet knowing that they won't get mouldy. It has a gusseted design which easily fits the contents whilst not taking up unnecessary space and the high-quality zipper and stitching means it will last the distance.
This pack includes:
4 X 4M GUY ROPES
4 X HD SOFT SPRINGS
1 X GEAR BAG
WHY THIS OVER THE ROPE THAT CAME WITH MY AWNING?
Our cast aluminium tensioner offers a more controlled and secure hold meaning you don’t have to continue adjusting the guy rope throughout the day or worry about it loosening over night. Our Soft Spring allows for some give in the system for the wind gusts, while also making the system more versatile on how you can anchor down. Our Guy Ropes can also easily be removed from your awning thanks to the carabiner, meaning they aren’t in your way when packing up.
IS THIS STILL NEEDED FOR A FREESTANDING AWNING?
Freestanding awnings are great, but they all still have wind ratings for a reason. Being able to securely tie down your freestanding awning allows you to enjoy your day out and about worry free, also giving piece of mind that you can leave your awning setup unattended and come back without it being folded over your roof. Attaching them to create a rain gutter on your awning minimises pooling and directing the water where you don’t want it.
IS THIS A GOOD OPTION TO SECURE MY GAZEBO?
Although called an awning pack, the Awning 4 Pack is a great option for securing your Gazebo. The most secure way is to wrap the soft spring around your Gazebo framework in each corner. This is due to the Gazebos sewn on d-rings being the weakest point and are known to rip off.
